The EMS SmartCell Wireless Manual Call Point (MCP) provides a simple, reliable way for a person to manually raise the fire alarm in an emergency.
Designed specifically for the EMS SmartCell wireless fire alarm system, the call point communicates wirelessly with the SmartCell control panel, avoiding the need to run conventional fire alarm cabling to each call point.
It has a compact design, protective transparent cover and integrated locking mechanism, making it quick to install while helping prevent accidental activation.
This is NOT a standalone fire alarm.
The SmartCell Wireless Manual Call Point must be installed as part of an EMS SmartCell fire alarm system and connected/programmed to a compatible SmartCell control panel.
It does not operate independently or sound an alarm by itself. When activated, it communicates with the SmartCell panel, which then processes the fire event and activates the appropriate alarm devices in the system.
If you are purchasing this call point, you will also need a SmartCell control panel and the other equipment required for your system design. EMS describes the control panel, manual call points and fire detectors as components of the wider SmartCell fire alarm system.

The call point must be correctly positioned, enrolled and commissioned as part of the SmartCell system. The system supports up to 64 wireless devices, with up to 32 wireless fire detection devices, depending on the system configuration.
