Safe & Smart isn't simply an online shop. Our products are carefully selected by people with extensive hands-on experience in electrical installation, solar energy, battery storage, security and smart technology.

Where available, you can add professional installation directly to your order. We'll arrange a convenient appointment, install and configure your equipment, test everything and show you how it works before we leave.

Our professional installation service covers London and surrounding areas within an 80-mile radius of London.

For straightforward products such as security cameras, fire alarms, fire extinguishers and portable power systems, we offer clear, fixed installation prices. Hardwired electrical installations and more complex security, fire alarm and energy systems are subject to a site survey, allowing us to confirm the requirements and provide an accurate quotation before work begins.

Where a fixed installation price is available, simply select the installation option when purchasing your product.

3. We arrange your appointment
We'll contact you to arrange a convenient installation date.

4. Professional installation & setup
We'll install, configure and test your equipment, making sure everything is working correctly.

5. Handover
We'll explain how your new equipment works and make sure you're comfortable using it before we leave.

Home safety surveys

Sometimes the most important question isn't “What should I buy?” but “What does my home actually need?”

We offer a Home Safety Survey for £50 inc VAT, designed to help families understand where additional safety and security measures could be beneficial.

One of our DBS-checked team members can visit your home and provide practical suggestions for devices and improvements that could help protect your family — from fire and smoke detection and fire extinguishers to security cameras, emergency lighting and other suitable smart safety technology.

There's no obligation to purchase anything following the survey.

And if you do decide to purchase products and installation from Safe & Smart, the £50 survey fee will be deducted from your installation cost.

We understand that arranging technology and safety equipment for an elderly, vulnerable or otherwise at-risk family member can be difficult.

Our aim is to make the process straightforward and reassuring. Our DBS-checked team can assess the home, explain our recommendations clearly to the customer and their family, and help identify practical measures that could improve safety, security and peace of mind.

We can supply and professionally install suitable equipment, with a clear explanation of how everything works once the installation is complete.
