The Panasonic RAC Solo 2.0kW is a compact heating and cooling system designed for homes where a conventional air-conditioning system with an outdoor condenser isn't practical or permitted.
Its slim 165mm-deep full-metal design contains the complete system within the property, meaning there is no external condenser and no refrigerant pipework connecting an indoor and outdoor unit. Installation requires just two 162mm wall openings through a suitable external wall to allow air to circulate.
The RAC Solo provides both cooling and heating, making it useful throughout the year. DC Inverter technology adjusts the system's output to maintain comfortable temperatures efficiently, while built-in Wi-Fi allows control using Panasonic's Aquarea Home app.
With a nominal 2.09kW cooling capacity and 2.08kW heating capacity, the 2.0kW model is particularly suited to bedrooms, home offices and smaller living spaces of approximately 20m², subject to the individual property's heat load and insulation.
