SmartCell Wireless Fire Control Panel
The SmartCell Wireless Fire Control Panel is the central control unit for the SmartCell wireless fire detection system, providing a flexible, professional solution for smaller commercial properties, residential applications and other buildings where a conventional hardwired fire alarm installation may be disruptive or impractical.
SmartCell uses robust 868–870 MHz wireless communication, avoiding the extensive cabling normally associated with a conventional fire alarm system. The system provides two-way communication between the control panel and wireless devices, with faults and low-battery conditions reported back to the panel.
The system can incorporate SmartCell smoke and heat detectors, sounders, visual alarm devices, manual call points and other wireless devices, allowing a system to be designed around the requirements of the property. SmartCell supports up to 32 fire devices, with the wider system capable of supporting up to 64 devices when information devices are included.
Designed for professional installation
The SmartCell control panel is not a standalone smoke alarm. It forms the central component of a complete wireless fire detection system and must be correctly designed, configured and commissioned with compatible SmartCell devices.
For this reason, we recommend purchasing the panel together with professional installation and system design advice from Safe & Smart.

Professional installation
SmartCell installation — best estimate £500.00 inc VAT
We offer professional installation and commissioning of SmartCell systems.
The £500.00 inc VAT installation price is a best estimate for a straightforward installation and is subject to survey.
The final installation cost will depend on:
- Number of detectors and other devices
- Property size and layout
- Number of zones required
- Panel location
- Mains supply requirements
- System configuration
- Access
- Commissioning requirements
- Any additional equipment required
Hardwired electrical work and more complex installations are subject to survey.
If the survey identifies additional requirements that change the installation price, we'll explain these to you before carrying out the work.
Why choose SmartCell?
Traditional wired fire alarm systems can require significant cable installation, disruption and making-good. SmartCell's wireless architecture can significantly simplify installation while providing a professional, standards-based fire detection system.
Its wireless communication operates in the 868–870 MHz band and is designed specifically for wireless fire systems rather than relying on ordinary Wi-Fi. SmartCell states that its wireless system is designed to meet the requirements of EN54-25 for wireless fire detection systems.
Important
This product is a control panel and is not a complete fire alarm system by itself.
A suitable system requires compatible SmartCell devices and professional design, configuration and commissioning appropriate to the property.
