Professional wireless fire detection with both smoke and heat sensing.
The EMS SmartCell Wireless Dual Smoke & Heat Detector provides flexible fire detection as part of an EMS SmartCell wireless fire alarm system. It can detect smoke, heat, or both, depending on how the system is configured.
The detector communicates wirelessly with the SmartCell control panel using secure bidirectional 868 MHz communication, allowing it to be individually identified and monitored by the system. It is quick to install and particularly useful where conventional wired fire alarm systems would be disruptive or expensive to install.
This product does NOT work as an individual standalone smoke alarm.
It must be purchased and installed as part of an EMS SmartCell system and programmed to a compatible SmartCell control panel.
If you are building a new SmartCell system, you will need the SmartCell Wireless Fire Control Panel as well as the required detectors and other system devices.
The manufacturer's installation instructions specifically state that the detector must be added/programmed to the control panel during commissioning.
This product should therefore not be purchased as a replacement for a conventional standalone domestic smoke alarm.

This detector must be installed, enrolled and programmed to a SmartCell control panel. Installation should be carried out by a suitably trained and competent person in accordance with the system design and applicable fire safety requirements.
